In Japan, the police detained a pervert-record holder
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/in-japan-the-police-detained-a-pervert-record-holder.htmlIt is well known that Japan is the birthplace of sexual perversions. Therefore, in most cases, people react calmly to various perversions in the Land of the Rising Sun. But there are extraordinary cases that impress even seasoned Japanese police officers. Recently, a record-breaking fetishist was detained in the city of Beppu, who stole 730 items of women's underwear.
In August 2021, a 21-year-old student from the city of Beppu, Oita Prefecture, contacted the police. The girl said that 6 sets of underwear were stolen from her in the self-service laundry. The victim knew the offender – it was a 56-year-old local resident Tetsuo Urata.
After receiving a search warrant for Urata's home, the police came to his home. There was no limit to their surprise, as the tiny studio apartment of an elderly man was littered with women's underwear. In total, 730 items of intimate wardrobe were found, ranging from panties and bras, and ending with bodysuits and nightgowns.
To count and identify the stolen items, the city police had to use an entire hall. Under the irrefutable weight of evidence, Tetsuo Urata confessed to stealing underwear from the laundries of the city to satisfy his unusual passion. A representative of the Beppo police Department commented on the arrest of the fetishist as follows:
The police say that the fetishist has repented and asks not to punish him severely, but, given the scale of the theft, he definitely cannot avoid a trial.
