Jaguar Land Rover specialists have studied the most dangerous areas of cars and compiled a short instruction for their disinfection. You can read their tips below.
As you know, the coronavirus can remain on surfaces - metal, glass or plastic — for five days. Therefore, in a car, the main "risk zones" can be considered the steering wheel, gear lever, seat belts, light and wiper switches, mirrors, window regulators, air conditioning systems, audio-visual systems and monitors, dashboard and, of course, door handles. Also, do not forget about the fuel tank cap and keys!
All these areas must be thoroughly treated before or after the operation of the machine with disinfectants. For this, for example, special napkins are suitable. Jaguar Land Rover employees advise you to keep these with you not only during the pandemic, but also during normal times. Other antibacterial and disinfectants that doctors recommend to use for the prevention of COVID-19 may also be useful.
