How could the Electronics and Syroezhkin look in the movie "Adventures of Electronics". Photo tests

The author of the book Evgeny Veltistov was invited as a screenwriter. While he was creating a new version of the adventures of Electronics, the director was concerned about the problem of where to take the performers of the main roles — Syroezhkin and Electronics.

Initially, Konstantin Bromberg planned that Electronics and Syroezhkin would be played by one boy, and Dmitry Zamulin was one of the main contenders.
But then the director decided to shoot the twins, and the Odessa film studio announced an all-Union search. We were looking for two twin boys. They had to be able to do literally everything — from playing the guitar to driving a moped.
In search of young actors, the assistants watched several hundred pairs of twin brothers throughout the Soviet Union.
It is hardly possible to find photos of all the boys who auditioned for these roles, but it was possible to find photo tests of some twins.
Sasha and Seryozha Osokin.
Kolya and Vova Ivanov-Martynov.
Yura and Volodya Smirnov.
Maxim and Denis Belousov.
Misha and Vanya Novikov.
Igor and Valery Rybachuk.
Brothers Vladimir and Yuri Torsuev turned out to be 368th. The head teacher of school No. 23, where they then studied, gave them a parting word for the tests. Accompanied by their mother, they came to the screen test.
"It was freezing at 40 degrees, and, except for the Torsuev brothers, no one came to the meeting," says the second director of the film, Yulia Konstantinova. — Mom brought them. They read something, played the guitar, sang. And although we planned younger boys for the main roles, we still approved 12-year-old Torsuevs. Yura became an Electronics Engineer during the trials, and Volodya became a Syroezhkin, but something didn't work out. Then the director swapped them — and the shooting went like clockwork."
During the auditions, the guys had to act out a scene in the garage when Syroezhkin explains Electronics what it means to be a human being. I do not know if this is the test or not, but below you will find unique footage — a screen test of the Torsuev brothers and the Rybachuk brothers for the film "Adventures of Electronics".
