Ryan Weideman is an American street photographer who moved to New York in the 80s. He became famous for the project "My Taxi" (My Taxi), which eventually stretched for two decades.

Almost every day, getting behind the wheel, Ryan went in search of bright and charismatic passengers. Sometimes real celebrities also got into his lens: the poet Allen Ginsberg, impressed by the photographer's works, dedicated a verse to him, where he called him a "taxi-dermist", and another time the actor Ben Gazzara smiled in the window of a neighboring taxi.

Some of Weidemann's works are kept in the Brooklyn Museum, and the collection of photos has already gone through several reprints.
