Get women off the screens: a former flight attendant has collected a collection of Hermès bags worth $ 2 millionBy Pictolic https://pictolic.com/en/article/get-women-off-the-screens-a-former-flight-attendant-has-collected-a-collection-of-hermes-bags-worth-2-million
There are never many bags — any woman will confirm this. But 42-year-old Jamie Chua (Jamie Chua) from Singapore really has a lot of them, although she herself hardly admits it. A woman has been collecting the most desirable Hermès bags for all ladies for many years. The value of her collection is estimated at two million dollars.
Her first Hermès bag was a blue Birkin worth $23,000. And now Jamie Chua can boast of a collection in which there are more than 200 bags of the famous brand.
Jamie Chua used to work as a flight attendant. During one of the flights, she met her future husband, Indonesian multimillionaire Nurdian Kuaka. After the wedding, the girl found herself an interesting and rather expensive hobby — collecting Hermès bags. Now her collection is estimated at about two million dollars, but perhaps this amount is somewhat understated, because some particularly rare specimens cost from 50 thousand dollars.
When the couple divorced in 2011, Jamie demanded 240 thousand dollars a month from her ex-husband for maintenance. Jamie has two children from him: a 21-year-old son and a 17-year-old daughter, but the woman looks more like their older sister than her mother, despite the fact that she is already over 40. Jamie spends a lot of time, effort and money on appearance: she spends more than 10 thousand dollars a month on cosmetic procedures alone.
Jamie said that her passion for bags of a certain brand began 15 years ago. According to her, the choice fell on Hermès, because these bags seemed to her the most comfortable.
Jamie's other passion is designer shoes.
The woman is happy to share photos of her chic life with 670 thousand followers on Instagram and, according to her, does everything possible to achieve stunning pictures. Jamie is constantly followed by two assistants who take photos for social networks.
