By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/galapagos-santa-fe-island.htmlDima Balakirev says: “The Galapagos are an archipelago in the Pacific Ocean. The islands are known primarily for the large number of local species of fauna and for the study of Charles Darwin, which served as the first impetus for him to create an evolutionary theory of the origin of species.
War with sea lions, unusual cacti, love games of stingrays - all this in a short report.

1. The Galapagos consist of 13 relatively large islands, each of which is of volcanic origin. The territory also includes six small islands and more than a hundred rocks. Today's story is about Santa Fe.
2. This island is located in the center of the archipelago.
3. Look at the amazing color of the water! True, the rust spoils the impression of the picture a little.
4. Google-style.
5. And this is a jewelry store. How do you like the design? I think it's original.
6. Attract tourists as best they can. The streets of the city are full of bright restaurants and shops. By the way, the locals are big fans of the foamy drink. In the past, provisions were delivered on a huge ship once every three months. Now three ships bring food here every two weeks. Guess which drink is one of them stuffed to capacity?
7. How to resist and not buy a magnet?
8. The local pelicans are like pigeons in Russia. At first, I was shocked by so many birds looking for something to profit from. But you get used to them very quickly.
9. Vintage bike. Notice the bikes in the background. This type of transport is not that dominating here, but it is often found.
10. The letter “T” on the sign is either a cactus or a trident.
11. Local iguanas suffer greatly from dogs and cats. In general, there are a large number of impudent imported animals in the Galapagos, mercilessly exterminating the local flora and fauna. There are no more iguanas left on the island of Santiago.
12. But there are more sea lions than necessary. They breed like rabbits! The government was thinking about how to stop such a rapid growth in their population. They even thought of breeding sharks. Although for me, lions are better than such predators.

14. Stingrays have love games. Caught a beautiful shot.
15. Photographer.
16. These handsome men are so cute and harmless only at first glance! One of the males had a small skirmish with our guide. But he was driven into a hole in disgrace.
17. Have you ever seen cactus trees?
18. They look so clumsy and good-natured. But looks are deceiving.
19. And again the inhabitants of the coast. They arranged for themselves an hour, occupying the passage to the water.
