Gareth and Diana Tobias say they are happy together and love each other as much as they did in their youth. Relatives and friends of the spouses are glad that they managed to create and maintain a family, despite all the difficulties associated with the diagnosis. Find out how unusual lovers live from our material.
56-year-old Gareth and 58-year-old Diana met in their youth at a local community center, and since then they have been inseparable. At that time, Gareth was 17 and Diana was 19.
The lovers met for 11 years, and then got married in the presence of 50 guests in the English city of Penrith in 1992.
Gareth works in a supermarket, and on weekends he and his wife go to a club or play dominoes. The couple still lives in Penrith at the community center that took them under its care. Volunteers who help spouses with Down syndrome admire their warm attitude to each other. Their love story inspires everyone around.
"Sunny children" warm the soul with sincere smiles. Two-year-old Eleanor Manton became the face of the advertising campaign of the JoJo Maman Bébé brand.
