"Ethnoexotics" from around the world on autochromes (1907-1931)

Categories: History | Nations

As already noted, in the first third of the 20th century, there were several global projects for systematic capture in color photography, using the autochrome method. The largest was the project of Albert Kahn (70,000 color images were taken in 1912-1932), the second largest collection was created by the American magazine National Geographic.

We offer you interesting ethnographic images that are scattered in nature. They can be viewed in the form of a mosaic.
