Photographer Tom Barnes was terrified - he thought he had hit a fox on the way to his studio. However, something else happened: two fox cubs climbed into the engine of the car to hide and keep warm, and got stuck! To free the animals, an experienced mechanic came to the aid of Barnes - the veterinarians were unable to cope. Mechanic Jamie removed the front of the bumper and took the foxes out of the car, after which it turned out that the manipulation of the car woke up and angered the cubs.
The animals were taken to a wildlife center where they are expected to be released into the wild in October, along with two or three other fox cubs to make it easier for them to figure out what's what.
