In it, the girl said that after filming the first season of the cult saga, she suffered a stroke, and later a hemorrhage and several operations.

Emilia Clarke told reporters that a terrible event happened in her life at the end of the filming of the first season of "Game of Thrones". A sudden fame hit the then-young, 24-year-old girl, and in order to somehow cope with stress, Clarke went to the gym. There she worked out with a personal trainer and at first she felt just fine, until this happened ... One day after another exercise, the girl felt a strong headache, squeezing, shooting and cutting.

And so it was. Already in the hospital, it turned out that Emilia Clarke had a "hemorrhagic stroke", in other words, a rupture of a vessel in the brain. Doctors made a diagnosis and determined that all this time the girl lived with a severe thinning of the vessel in the brain (aneurysm) and did not even know about it.

Emilia admitted that before that she was often tormented by headaches, low blood pressure or fainting, but she never attached serious importance to this.

It is worth noting that a third of patients with such a diagnosis, which was given to the actress at the time of hospitalization, immediately die. Others either remain disabled for life, or die in the next six months.

Fortunately, Emilia Clarke miraculously managed not only to escape, but after a month of treatment to begin filming the second season of "Game of Thrones".

After that, Emilia Clarke had to constantly do an MRI of the brain, as doctors discovered she had a second aneurysm, the condition of which had to be monitored regularly. And after the filming of the third season of the series, it turned out that the girl was going to have an operation, otherwise there was a high risk of another stroke.

Doctors convinced the star that the operation would take only two hours and soon she would be able to get back to work. However, right on the surgical table, the girl had a hemorrhage. She immediately underwent a second operation, this time on an open brain.

As a result, the actress was left with a huge scar on her head, and part of her cranial bones are titanium plates.

Nevertheless, in a few months the girl managed to recover. She remembers that period with horror. According to Emilia Clarke, then she was sure that she would not survive.

A few weeks after being discharged from the hospital, Clarke went with colleagues on the set to the Comic-on in San Diego. There she was supposed to talk to journalists, but right during the press conference, the girl felt unbearable pain:

Despite the fact that the chances of recovering from a stroke were very small, the girl was able to fully recover and even continued filming in further seasons of Game of Thrones.
