In April 2016, a group of American dog handlers came to Jordan to check the condition of service dogs. The report notes that the mortality rate of animals is very high, they lack medical care, dogs live in terrible conditions and lose the desire to carry out their service. Despite this, the dogs continued to be sent to Jordan, and the program was funded further. The State Department agreed to implement the recommendations on the proper maintenance of service animals, but rejected the proposal to stop sending dogs to Jordan until living conditions for them improve.

Man is a source of suffering not only for American sapper dogs, but also for Spanish Galgo greyhounds. After the end of the hunting season, they are thrown out into the street, locked in dirty sheds or simply left in the woods, dooming them to starvation. This is becoming a terrible tradition and a tragedy on a national scale.
