Brooklyn-based photographer Luc Kordas captured the life of New York-a metropolis where life is bustling day and night, and thousands of people rush to and from work at any time of the day. The series is called The New York Chronicles.

Chronicles of New York from a Brooklyn photographer in love with the city

Luc Cordas is a street photographer who now lives and works in New York City. He came to the Big Apple from Europe in 2014, after more than a decade of traveling.

The photographer was inspired by the people on the streets of Manhattan, here you can find all layers of society – this is a kind of Tower of Babel, a real feast for the street photographer. However, the photographer can not say that he fell in love with New York one hundred percent:

Luk came to the creation of his photo project consciously. Although there are a lot of people in the city, it is also very easy to stay alone. The reason for this is not only that many people are newcomers who do not have family or friends here, in addition, this is also due to the development of technologies that are gradually taking over our lives and separating us from each other.
