Andrea Peri was born and raised in Centuripe, but only recently learned about the unusual shape of his hometown. One day he decided to find his home on Google Earth satellite maps and was amazed. The shape of the city turned out to be so unusual that Peri decided to tell the whole world about it.

He bought a good drone and was able to shoot the Centuripe from a great height. Andrea posted pictures on social networks and they quickly went viral. Although the photos delighted users, there were also many skeptics.

After the aerial photographs of Centuripe taken by Peri became famous all over the world, the photographer was finally noticed at home. The mayor of the city asked the young artist to organize an exhibition and demonstrate his work. To make exhibition pictures, Andrea had to work hard. It all rested on the technical capabilities of his drone.

Centuripe is located at an altitude of 730 meters above sea level, 40 km from Mount Etna and 530 km from Rome. The town with a population of 5,500 people has no access to the sea. Because of this, many guests of Sicily pass this place in a hurry to enjoy the beauty of the resort coast. Now the town in the mountains has every chance to increase the flow of tourists, because now you can visit it not only because of a couple of old churches and good wine.
