Ten years Emma and Wayne dreamed about children. October 8, 2019, the light appeared to their long-awaited daughter. Two months later, the parents learned that the little Erin a rare and dangerous heart defect — tetralogy of Fallot. A month later, on December 23, Erin moved needed surgery and spent a week in intensive care.
Already in the cardiology Department, the baby had contracted respiratory syncytial virus. With a severe respiratory infection, she was back in the ICU.
Erin could not breathe on her own, so she was transferred on artificial lung ventilation. Even worse, April 10, she was diagnosed with coronavirus. But here, the girl won!
This is another proof that the coronavirus is not a death sentence for people with pathologies.
The girls still have health problems, so helping the family started a campaign on GoFundMe.
