His question, how identical identical twins are, resulted in the project Like But Not Alike ("The same, but not completely"). For the sake of the pictures, Peter spends a considerable amount of time exploring the streets of London in search of twins.
The first pictures came out by accident when the photographer stumbled upon two sisters, Kira and Taiya. With fiery red hair and an unspeakable similarity, the 14-year-old girls looked intriguing and frightening at the same time.
In addition to portraits, Peter pays special attention to conversations with the twins or their parents. This helps him to better understand the complexity of the connection between the twins.
The more time Peter spent photographing the twins, the more he began to notice their individual traits.
