2. Laura first noticed abandoned toilets in 2005 when she moved to London. "I always liked the idea of micro-restoration," he explained. "For me, this is a saving of places with interesting stories that were abandoned and forgotten," she told The Telegraph. When Laura told her friends and family that she plans to turn used public toilets into an apartment with a bedroom, their reaction varied from laughter to horror and criticism, but she didn't force herself to do it.

3. Toilets were built in 1929 and were used for the last time in the 1980s. Unsurprisingly, it was necessary to carry out a lot of preliminary work, such as demolition and cleaning, in order to turn this abandoned place into a decent construction site.

5. "In the end, I did most of the work myself, because it was such terrible, hard work that I tried my best to keep people at work," said Laura.

6. Finally, after several months of hard work and $ 65,000 spent, the project was completed, and that was previously called an abandoned public toilet, turned into a stylish quadruple room.
