Therefore, science ranks the Amazons among the Eurasians and continues to study them closely. Some scientists are more categorical and generally classify Amazahs as Armenoids. This is one of the types of the Balkan-Caucasian group, which is part of the Caucasoid race.

How and when the Amazonian Europeans got to Africa, no one can say yet. But it is known for sure that this people stands out among others. Unlike many other nations that have undergone Islamization, the Amazahs have not abandoned their culture. They successfully combine their ancient pagan customs and rites of Islam.

Nowadays, Amazons live mainly in the mountains and deserts. Some of them live sedentary, in small villages, and some continue to roam, as their ancestors did for centuries. Since many representatives of this people live in remote and hard-to-reach places, it is difficult to accurately name their number.

Scientists believe that with the total number of Berber peoples of 30 million people, a third are Amazons. Women and children of this people appear in the pictures of journalists, since men have a negative attitude to any of their images. By the way, the Amazons once had relatives in the Canary Islands. The Guanches, exterminated by the Spaniards in the 15th and 16th centuries, were also light-skinned and blue-eyed.
