In fact, many flawless photos posted on hotel websites turn out to be fake. That is, these places, of course, exist, but they only look a little different than in the fabulous pictures that promise a paradise on earth for vacationers.

Often advertised places are taken from a good angle, but in reality, just a couple of centimeters away is what spoils the magical landscape. 

The Oyster website, which deals with hotel reviews, sends professionals around the world to check whether the photos correspond to reality — and some reviewers return with pictures that are very different from what the official hotel website promises.
