"Toy Story": the real life of the heroes of the fairy-tale film

The actor who voiced this character, Don Rickles, was 90 when he died in April 2017. He never lived to see the recordings of the fourth part of the animated film. Pixar has asked the family of the deceased comedian for permission to use old sound recordings for the new release, so Rickles' voice will be heard in the fourth season.

In 2017, John Saigan, who voiced Twitch in the third part of Toy Story, also died. In 2018, Er Lee Ermey, who voiced the Sergeant, and Bud Lucky, who gave the voice to the clown Chuckles, passed away.

In the film, Woody tries to convince a plastic fork named Forks that she is not garbage. New toys found in the antique shop include Duke Kaboom's trickster and Gabby Gabby doll.

Initially, the cartoon was not called "Toy Story", but "You are a toy". There has been a lot of debate between Disney and Pixar about how much the narrative in the film should focus on the theme of toys. The Disney writers insisted on introducing more human characters into the plot. But after Joss Whedon joined the screenwriting team, this idea was finally abandoned.
