The creations of the Iraqi-British architect in neo-futurism style have become one of the most famous in the world. Spectacular and always inspiring, Zaha Hadid was the first woman to receive the 2004 Pritzker Prize (an award for achievements in architecture, considered the equivalent of the Nobel Prize), and later became the only woman to be awarded the Royal Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
