The crime was committed in the district Izmailovo highway in the North-East of Moscow, on 25 October 1974. The victim was 17-year-old girl, so the crime was classified in accordance with the criminal code of the RSFSR as the rape of a minor group of people.

The three attackers were arrested almost immediately, without delay, they were convicted and sent to serve his sentence in the colony.
