Take, for example, the Fuji Shibazakura festival, when millions of phloxes bloom.
The festival takes place in Hitsujiyama Park on the island of Honshu. The park occupies several hectares, and special regular transfers are organized to it during the flowering period. The styloid phloxes, the main event of the festival, delight the eye with a variety of shades of pink and lilac, and Mount Fuji, against which this splendor blooms, makes you admiringly hold your breath.
