Dušan Beno is a young Slovak photographer who has been doing macro photography for 7 years, and in the last couple of years, thanks to his amazing work, he has become truly world famous.
Dusan considers himself a patriot, therefore, he does not plan to go anywhere for permanent residence from his native Bystrica. The Slovak practically does not "hunt" for insects with a camera. Usually he catches his future "models" and brings them home, where he already arranges a full-fledged photo shoot for them. Not a single insect was harmed during filming, and all models were subsequently released into the wild.
From his photographs, insects look at us, many of which we meet every day, not paying attention to them. But in the pictures of this talented photographer, these small inconspicuous creatures turn right into alien creatures of amazing beauty. The "models" in Dushan's photographs amaze with incredible detail, bright colors and composition.
In his work, Dushan predominantly uses the Canon MP-E lens, considering it one of the best all-round macro lenses.
