Single men and their cats
"Hello! Let's get acquainted? "No!" "Catnip is the answer." All of you have probably heard the common jokes about "strong, independent women", whose independence is measured on a scale of one to forty seals. In some cases, the number of fluffy nyashechek in the apartment is off the scale, then the lady can be renamed "crazy catwoman". But all this is nothing more than stereotypes, because cats are so beautiful that they love them regardless of gender. In confidence, we admit to you that people were created in order for cats to have a place to live.
To break down all the stereotypes about cat people, New York photographer David Williams started his project "Men & Cats" (Men & Cats), making portraits of his friends who share their home with the mustachioed-striped. So, in our issue — dedicated cat lovers from the Big Apple, most of them bearded and brutal, who at the same time dote on their favorite cats.
Photographer David Williams (David Williams) decided to debunk the common stereotype of the image of "woman + cat" and "man + dog". "I wanted to show that regardless of gender, many people enjoy the company of cats, their love and affection," says David. At the same time, an experienced female eye can note that all the characters in the Men and Cats series do not have a ring on their ring finger. Does this mean that all the love of these men is directed at cats, while the betrothed has not yet been found, or do cats really attract themselves to lonely people? David Williams himself does not hide the fact that he has a charming black and white cat at home, but emphasizes that the girl also found a place in his heart.
