Andrey Chikachev is a laureate of numerous competitions and a member of the commission for awarding the state prize. The artist lives and works in Yakutsk.
Chikachev's work is characterized by a great love for his homeland and its people, as well as a sense of humor. Most often, the artist depicts situations from the lives of ordinary people. These are reindeer herders, hunters, fishermen, masters of folk crafts. The master has a special attitude to children — most of the paintings are dedicated to them.
Chikachev's works are always bright, bright and cheerful. They look like illustrations for children's books and leave behind only positive emotions.
