Among modern artists there are masters who have a very subtle sense of style and era. Looking at their works, it's hard to believe that they were written in our days, and not in the good old days. One of these painters, who own the key to the time machine, can be considered the Russian artist Konstantin Razumov.

Konstantin Razumov was born in 1974 in Zarinsk, in the Altai Territory. Drawing and painting interested him from the earliest years, so the question of choosing a life path was not in front of the guy. First, independent study of techniques, then the Novoaltai Art School, then the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture - Konstantin is always eager to study and learn new things.

But no school or academy can give a person the talent that nature has generously endowed the artist with. Razumov chose the portrait as the main direction in his work and reached impressive heights in it. Konstantin's paintings are well recognizable — they combine impressionism and realism in the most incredible way.

Most of the artist's works are dedicated to women. Razumov's heroines are stylish, elegant and, often, openly erotic. It is difficult to imagine them in the office or in the kitchen — these are ladies who need to be admired and admired.

The heroines of Konstantin's works are surrounded not by standard modern furniture, but by light, refined interiors of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. It is easy for the viewer to imagine that outside the window of the depicted room, Paris, Vienna or London is noisy with the wheels of carriages and the horns of the first cars.

Razumov's women are always gentle and feminine, and they are surrounded by light, light colors and lots of light. The artist perfectly manages to convey transparency and therefore the fabrics on his canvases are surprisingly realistic.

Konstantin Rozumov's paintings are unusual and unique. Among our contemporaries there is, perhaps, only one master of female portrait, who also possesses the magic of light transmission and transparency. If you liked what the Russian painter does, you definitely need to see the works of Vicente Romero Redondo, a contemporary artist from Spain.
